Islands are planted on a grid, and each island has a number from 1 to 8. Solve the puzzle by drawing bridges between the islands, obeying the following rules: 1. The total bridges on each island must match the number. 2. Bridges must run north-south or east-west. 3. Bridges can’t cross other bridges or islands. 4. No more than two bridges can connect the same pair of islands. 5. All the islands must be connected together.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Everyday Grids at 4.7 against Hashi Solver's 4.0. Everyday Grids also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (765 vs 1). Hashi Solver's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hashi Solver sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Everyday Grids sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Everyday Grids holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everyday Grids has 765 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Hashi Solver's written reviews are positive against 61% of Everyday Grids's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Hashi Solver ships an update every 6 months, Everyday Grids monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
