Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Rolling Beast at 5.0 against Nextin's 3.4. Rolling Beast also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Nextin's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and ratings volume (625 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Rolling Beast's written reviews are positive against 33% of Nextin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
