Explore the Central Limit Theorem, learn about the correlation coefficient and linear regression, and visualize the coverage probability of confidence intervals or Type I & II Errors in hypothesis testing. Build understanding by experiencing these important concepts step-by-step. For students and teachers of statistics. The Art of Stat: Concepts app provides access to the following modules: - Central Limit Theorem for Means - Central Limit Theorem for Proportions - Explore Correlation - Explore Linear Regression - Explore Coverage - Errors & Power CLT: Select from several real population distributions (left and right-skewed or fairly symmetric) and simulate taking a sample from the population. Visualize how the sampling distribution builds, step-by-step. Explore the effect on the sampling distribution as you increase the sample size. Overlay the normal distribution. Compare the sampling distribution of the mean to the population distribution, both visually and in terms of key statistics. Explore Correlation/Linear Regression: Create (and delete) points in a scatterplot by tabbing on the screen. Show the regression line or residuals. Simulate scatterplots and guess the correlation coefficient. Coverage and Errors: Explore what 95% coverage for a confidence interval for a population mean or proportion implies. See the Type I and Type II error and explore how they depend on the sample size and the true parameter value. Find and visualize the power of a hypothesis test.

Build confidence for the Digital SAT® Math section with focused practice, concise solutions, and guided examples that help you understand each problem-solving method. PixelMath organizes practice by skill, making it easy to focus on specific topics, recognize common question patterns, and learn efficient ways to solve problems. PRACTICE THE FOUR MATH DOMAINS • Algebra • Advanced Math • Problem-Solving and Data Analysis • Geometry and Trigonometry FEATURES • Topic-Based Practice Work on linear equations, functions, quadratics, percentages, statistics, circles, triangles, volume, trigonometry, and more. • Concise Step-by-Step Solutions Review clear solutions designed to show an efficient path from the question to the answer. • Guided Similar Examples When you need help, open a related example with a complete solution and apply the same method to the original problem. • Instant Feedback Check your answer and review the reasoning behind the solution. • Built-In Drawing Pad on iPad Write calculations and sketch diagrams directly on the screen while solving problems. • Offline Practice Downloaded practice content works without an internet connection. An internet connection is required for purchases and restoring access. TRY BEFORE UNLOCKING Try the first question in every exercise. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks questions 2–10 across all exercises. PixelMath uses independently created practice questions designed around the skills assessed in the Digital SAT® Math section. Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Art of Stat at free against PixelMath's free with in-app purchases. Art of Stat also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Art of Stat sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and PixelMath sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Art of Stat against 5.0 for PixelMath. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Art of Stat has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Art of Stat ships an update every 3 weeks, PixelMath monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
