About

DepositRadar

Features

Your landlord has a ledger. You have a radar. DepositRadar turns the photos you were going to take anyway into sealed, court-grade evidence - and quietly watches every deadline your state's law gives your landlord to return your security deposit. WHY RENTERS WIN WITH DEPOSITRADAR - 50-state deadline engine: every state gives landlords 14 to 60 days to return your deposit. DepositRadar counts down your state's exact window and alerts you at 30 days before move-out, 3 days before the deadline, on deadline day, and the day after - when statutory penalties may kick in and you can claim up to double or triple. - Rental file in about a minute: add your address, lease dates, deposit amount and state - suggested automatically from your location. A default room checklist is created for you. - Guided inspection walkthroughs: a built-in move-in checklist walks you through living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bath and more. Snap, and the app auto-advances to the next room. Zero typing required. - Evidence that holds up: every photo is stored as the original file - never re-encoded - and sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint plus capture timestamp. Move-out mode shows your move-in shot beside the camera so you can match it frame for frame. - Statute-cited demand letter: when the deadline passes, generate a formal demand letter that quotes your state's exact statute and penalty multiplier - prefilled with your amounts and dates. Export as a lawyer-look PDF, mail it certified, and keep the receipt as evidence. - Certified-mail tracker: record the day you mailed your forwarding address and archive the receipt photo - a key exhibit if the refund never arrives. - Exhibit-ready evidence pack: print three copies - one for you, one for the judge, one for the landlord. Numbered exhibits, table of contents, chronological timeline. Every export re-verifies each fingerprint. - Verifiable manifest: export a JSON manifest where every photo's fingerprint can be independently checked with any hash tool. Trust, but verify. - Damage log: spotted a cracked tile in October? Log it the day you spot it, sealed and timestamped. - Small claims steps: a plain-English guide from filing to hearing day for tenants who are owed money. FREE INCLUDES 1 rental file, 60 sealed photos, the full 50-state deadline countdown and all deadline alerts - free, forever. LIFETIME UNLOCK One-time purchase. No subscription, ever. Unlocks unlimited rental files and photos, demand letter PDF export, the exhibit-ready evidence pack, the verifiable manifest and the full room compare view. Family Sharing included. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No cloud. No tracking. Your photos never leave this phone. Works fully offline. DepositRadar provides general information, not legal advice. State rules are verified against official sources as of the app's rules version shown in Settings.
