Exploring amp/cabinet/mic combo for different style could be the most fun part for any player, but the problem is not everyone can afford/store so many amps/cabinets at home, so here comes AnyAmpIR, allowing you to explore your tone unlimitedly, you can recreate your favorite amp/cab tone super efficiently, anywhere and anytime, made for musician, by musician. What is IR? Short for impulse response, which can keep the entire cable + amp + cabinet + mic's static EQ & compression + room reverb information almost perfectly for your guitar/bass, how they will affect the tone are all saved within this IR file, which usually is just a 1 second tiny wav file around 20KB. And studio quality IR files are free everywhere nowadays, you can even make your own version. Although IR doesn't capture amp's distortion, but you can always pair overdrive/distortion with IR to dirt up the tone, which is really fun. jAmp IR is a zero latency impulse response loader tool in AUv3 plugin format. It is designed to be a cabinet simulator for guitar and bass amps. Two impulse responses can be mixed. Furthermore there is fine level control in the form of high and low pass filters, gain control, and phase inversion. The app comes with 5 high quality impulse responses.
