God Man Response

GMR is a simple way to get to know God and yourself better with a brief time in the word that is short and focused. Since it is short, it makes it easier to become a daily habit, which you can do with your morning coffee. To begin, pray and ask God to reveal at least one thing about His character or ways and at least one thing about man’s character or ways. Then read looking for each. You only need to find one, but often times you find more. When you see them- simply write them down. When you are done reading, reflect on what you found and write a response to God. It often looks like a short note to God related to what you’ve discovered. What makes it so effective is you are actively reading by looking for something within the verses, not just reading without a focus. It is also rewarding to see what you can discover about the character and ways of God and about man (yourself).
