About

Catan Layouts

Features

Catan Layouts is a simple setup companion for your tabletop game. Generate randomized terrain and number layouts in three specific modes: • Normal: 19 land hexes for 3–4 players. • 5–6: 30 land hexes for the larger base-game setup. • Seafarers: Heading for New Shores for four players, with 42 tiles: 28 land and 14 sea. Use four adjacency settings to choose whether 6 and 8, 2 and 12, matching numbers or matching land resources may touch. Adjustments remain pending until you tap Generate or switch to another mode, so opening or closing settings does not replace your current map. Native icon controls, distinct terrain colors and emphasized 6/8 numbers keep the interface focused on the board. The app follows system Light and Dark appearance and includes a refreshed app icon. Generation works offline and requires no account. Catan Layouts generates terrain and number layouts; ports, roads, ships, settlements and scoring are outside its scope. Seafarers support is limited to the named four-player scenario.
