Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Vicious Biscuit at none against CRG VIP's shown. Vicious Biscuit also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). CRG VIP's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Vicious Biscuit holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vicious Biscuit has 746 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CRG VIP's written reviews are positive against 87% of Vicious Biscuit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
CRG VIP ships an update every 5 months, Vicious Biscuit every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
