Platform Pro vs MyStation NYC

Platform Pro is a simple, fast way to answer two questions about the NYC MTA Subway: - When is the next train departing from the closest stations? - How generally screwed-up is the train service right now? Open the app, and you'll see a list of subway departures organized by time and distance to you. Swipe left to see active service alerts, and click on an alert to get more detailed information. That's... it! A stripped-down approach means virtually instant load times, no ads or bloat, and a one-click answer to the two most common commuter questions. This app is *not* designed to replace full-featured navigation services. There's no support for trips or directions, there's no map interface, and I've included timetable info only from the MTA Subway (for now). If you're planning a complex, multi-transit route, use one of those other services. But if you know already know *where* you're going and just need to know *when*, use Platform Pro. See up to 6 train arrival times at stations so you can better plan your trip to work or back home. Save up to 5 stations so you have access to up to date arrivals at your common stations. We've also added widget support for you to access arrival times without needing to go into the app. Why was this app made? I live near a station I use all the time, and I know it takes me 2 minutes to walk from my door to the platform. I don't typically need full navigation, but as I get my shoes on I like to know whether I have 2 mins or 10 mins to get to the station. This app gives me that information super fast. Ever been in a station and can't find the arrival boards? One tap and you'll the next train arrivals at nearby stations. Or, add a widget to see the info without needing to open the app. Live or work near a station you use daily? It's great to know before you head out whether you have 2 mins until the next train or 15 mins. Know quickly whether you need to rush out or have time to grab a coffee before the train comes.
