This is a miraculous timer app where stoic cats cheer you on. An unlikely collaboration between cats, who don't understand the concept of time, and a timer app that guides time, is now realized here. For work, study, cooking, and workouts. To those who want to achieve their set goals. Let's seize success with the Cat's Timer! # Simple Timer First, set the timer duration you often use. Choose your cat too. The timer can be set with a few taps. It's ready to use immediately. It's perfect for the Pomodoro Technique. # Display End Time Even though cats appear, the timer function is solid. You can check when the timer ends, before starting it, and during its operation. # Set a Label for the Timer There are different types of 5 minutes, such as 5 minutes break and 5 minutes squat. You can label this timer at the time of setting, for identification. # Encounter with Cats As you continue to use the timer, you may encounter unknown cats. If they show up, please welcome them gently. They will certainly be helpful. # Multiple Color Themes Multiple color themes are available. You can change from the initial blue to any theme you like at any time. # Ad-Free Option This app displays ads while in use. By purchasing the upgrade option, you can use it with the ads always hidden. The option is a one-time purchase.
Pomoneko
Read full descriptionHide full description
Pomoneko is a cat cafe that only opens while you focus. Start a shift, put the phone down, and every focused minute drops a tip in the jar. Walk out mid-shift and the cafe closes early. How a Shift Works Pick a length and start the shift. Lock the phone and leave it alone. The barista keeps the cafe open and pays one tip for every focused minute. Pomoneko is built for people who lose focus, so the cafe gives you a reason to stay at the counter. When the timer reaches zero the shift keeps running and the tips keep coming. The barista yawns every 25 minutes and asks "Still here?". One tap answers. Leave the app in the middle of a shift and the cafe closes early. The tips from that shift are gone. Your cat, your streak, and your total focused time stay. An optional Hardcore setting raises the stakes. It stays off until you turn it on. The Regulars Nine illustrated cats work the cafe. Name your barista. Spend tips to bring a new regular in. Your focused hours raise the cafe level, and every level adds a seat, so more cats sit at the counter. Tea Breaks A tea break is the rest between two shifts. The cat hops on the counter and waits with you. The break ends on time and the next shift starts. Block Apps Choose the apps that pull you away. They stay shut while a shift runs. The choice never leaves your phone. On Your Lock Screen A Live Activity shows the shift on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Home Screen widgets show the timer and the tip jar. A Control Center button opens the cafe. App Shortcuts start a shift by voice. Share a Shift At the end of a shift you can share one recap card: your cat, the focused minutes, and the streak. The card carries an invite code for a friend. No account and no friend list. Presets Classic 25/5. 52/17. Animedoro 40/20. Deep Work 90/20. Five minutes for an easy start. Or set your own shift and break lengths. A running shift grows by five minutes with one tap. Privacy No ads. No account. Usage stats stay anonymous, and one switch turns them off. One Purchase All cats, one purchase, forever.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Pomoneko at none against Timer and Cat's shown. Timer and Cat's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 14 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
