Geodotty
Read full descriptionHide full description
Geodotty is a geography quiz all about the internet's country domains, known as ccTLDs. Every country has its own ending: .fi stands for Finland, .jp for Japan, .br for Brazil. How it works: A domain appears on the screen and you tap the correct country on the map. Each round, ten countries are randomly drawn, so no two rounds are the same. Two ways to play: - Quiz: the more accurate and fast you are, the higher your score. Afterwards you enter the leaderboard and can share your result. - Learn mode: no timer, no scoring. Get it wrong once and Geodotty names the country you are looking for; get it wrong again and four countries stay marked on the map to choose from. Two maps: - Europe: a selection of 39 European countries - World map: a selection of 113 countries from around the world What you'll learn: Geodotty bridges geography and the internet. You'll train yourself to know which domain belongs to which country and where it sits on the map. Perfect for school, curious learners, or anyone who wants to make the most of their free time.
