Verdict
OnlyDrams and Spin & Dine both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Spin & Dine's written reviews are positive against 65% of OnlyDrams's. Spin & Dine also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). OnlyDrams's advantage is ratings volume (9.3K vs 6) and chart position (#35 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. OnlyDrams sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Spin & Dine sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
OnlyDrams holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnlyDrams has 9.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of OnlyDrams's written reviews are positive against 100% of Spin & Dine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
OnlyDrams ships an update fortnightly, Spin & Dine every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
