MarkTodo is a Todolist APP that allows you to focus on starred to-dos. It displays your starred to-do in a double-column waterfall card style. MarkTodo currently supports the three major platforms of iOS/iPadOS/macOS, and supports iCloud synchronization of to-do items, allowing you to handle to-do items anytime, anywhere on any device. The original design intention of MarkTodo actually originated from my personal actual needs. In my daily work and life, many to-do items do not actually have a clear deadline, but this does not mean that these to-do items are not important. In contrast, most of the things that really matter don’t have clear deadlines. In traditional Todo tools, in order to reflect the importance of to-do items, deadlines are often used. However, deadlines can cause stress and often end up causing to-do items to expire... So, I was wondering, is there a to-do tool that can allow people to focus on important to-do items without causing time pressure? Therefore, I decided to develop MarkTodo, a todolist app that allows you to focus on starred to-dos. The core function of MarkTodo is the homepage, you can add to-do items that you think are important recently to homepage without adding a deadline. MarkTodo has several important features: - The homepage directly displays starred to-dos - Quickly add to-do without going inside the list - Add star and cancel star to-do at any time In addition, MarkTodo also provides all list pages similar to traditional Todo Apps, allowing you to get started quickly. Full functionality of MarkTodo: - Starred todos - Planed list - All Todo List - Done list - Custom list - Tag list - To-do priority - To-do reminder If you have any suggestions, please contact the developer: linguny@gmail.com ———————— MarkTodo Pro membership benefits: There are three MarkTodo Pro memberships, with any one of them you will have unlimited access to all MarkTodo features. - MarkTodo Pro Lifetime Membership (pay once, valid for life) - MarkTodo Pro Monthly Membership (monthly subscription) - MarkTodo Pro Annual Membership (annual subscription) Subscription price: Among them, MarkTodo Pro monthly membership and MarkTodo Pro annual membership are automatic subscription members, and the subscription price is subject to the actual price displayed in the AppStore. For example, the monthly subscription price for MarkTodo Pro monthly membership is $0.99; the annual subscription price for MarkTodo Pro annual membership is $6.99. Automatic renewal: The Apple iTunes account will be deducted within 24 hours before expiration. After the deduction is successful, the subscription period will be extended by one subscription period. Cancel renewal: If you need to cancel the renewal, please manually turn off the automatic renewal function in iTunes/Apple ID subscription management 24 hours before the expiration of the current subscription period. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: MarkTodo at 5.0 against HabitTime's 4.8. HabitTime's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. HabitTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and MarkTodo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

MarkTodo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of HabitTime's written reviews are positive against 96% of MarkTodo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

HabitTime ships an update weekly, MarkTodo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
