Verdict
Squish Run and Pizza Hero both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Squish Run's written reviews are positive against 71% of Pizza Hero's. Pizza Hero's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Squish Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pizza Hero sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Squish Run against 4.7 for Pizza Hero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pizza Hero has 1.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Squish Run's written reviews are positive against 71% of Pizza Hero's.
