Watch evolution unfold in real time – on an entire planet. Selvaris is an evolution simulator: plants, herbivores and carnivores live, eat, hunt and reproduce on a globe you can spin freely. Every creature passes its traits on to its offspring – with small mutations. Those that are faster, more efficient or more skilful live longer and have more offspring. Natural selection, live before your eyes. CREATURES THAT LEARN Every animal is controlled by a small neural network: it senses food, predators and its own energy reserves and decides for itself where to go. Over the generations, each species improves its shared memory – successful strategies prevail. WHAT YOU CAN OBSERVE • More than 20 heritable traits – from speed and sight range to armor and bite power, all the way to plant toxicity and root depth • Live charts of population size and average age • The average genes of every species at a glance • Slow motion to fast-forward (0.1× to 5×) and rewind • Zoom in all the way to individual animals GAME MODES • Classic – guardrails keep the ecosystem stable, the simulation runs forever • Survival – no intervention: will your ecosystem hold out, or will a species go extinct? With leaderboard SELVARIS PRO (one-time purchase) • Design Mode – intervene: trigger plagues, release creatures, unleash predators • Design Mode+ – interventions in survival mode, with its own leaderboard • Design Genes – set the genes of your starting populations yourself • All future Pro features included One-time · no subscription ALSO • Save populations, continue them later and share them as a file • Built-in manual • In English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese • Fully offline – no ads, no tracking, no account needed
