Trolling Angles vs Catchzone

The Trolling Angles app provides an economical, accurate, rapid, convenient, and versatile process and means with which a trolling angler can know how to present any trolled lure or bait at the desired depth where fish are most likely to perceive and strike the lure or bait. In a calibration phase, the angler uses the app to measure and record the angle of incidence between the water surface and the actual rigged trolling line, at multiple different line lengths. In an analysis phase, the app calculates a curve data structure which approximates the actual curved trolling line profile. In a trolling phase, after calibration and analysis, the angler specifies the desired depth, and the app uses the curve data structure to look up and display the line length which is required to troll at that depth. The patented method used by the Trolling Angles app does not rely on knowing the values of variable physical factors such as weight, line diameter, or lure geometry, or the mathematics of the physics which depends on those factors. It does not rely on external data for specific lure types. It does not rely on observing and measuring the submerged lure. Trolling Angles relies only on the line lengths and angles of the line as it enters the water surface, observed with the tackle and conditions in actual use. All configuration input data consisting of line lengths and angles, is generated, stored, and owned by the user on the local device. The free download of Trolling Angles is inactive. Your catch code will populate and you can see all the information on the water body you want to fish or are currently fishing. Catch Zone comes complete with an auto locating feature that will tell you your catch code for any waterbody in Washington or Oregon. Track your personal best with our catch tags that save to your personal profile. We have a large social feed for you to share your greatest catch and stories with the world. At the bottom of every fish screen, we have made it easy to access emergency regulations with a clickable link. Subscriptions are required for complete functionality of our app. We offer two subscriptions a monthly subscription or a yearly subscription. Both of our subscriptions give full access to our app. We have added a new weather page to our app! On the weather page you will find your local forecast, a seven day forecast, as well as Tides, River levels, stocking reports , dam counts, ocean conditions, and moon phases. Our tide feature is great it auto locates your closest station and then you can also select different locations near you or even search for any station you want to know about. We have added tips and info for every waterbody on our app. These tips and info will tell you what fish are in that waterbody, the best time to fish for them, and in some cases tell you how to set up your rod, and tell you what works best .
