Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: TFalta at 100% against Simpleplus's 31%. TFalta also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Simpleplus's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

TFalta holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simpleplus has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Simpleplus ships an update every 6 months, TFalta every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
