Most listening apps quiz you on facts. PAL asks you to actually listen, then speak back what you remember, in your own words. HOW IT WORKS Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard. Listen to a short passage — about a minute at Easy, up to six at Hard. Then talk. Tell PAL what you heard, like you're recapping it to a friend. AI scores what you captured based on meaning, not exact wording, because that's how real listening comprehension actually works. THE DAILY CHALLENGE Everyone worldwide gets the same three daily challenges — one Easy, one Medium, one Hard. Keep your streak alive and share your result card. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT - Speak your recall. No multiple choice, no fill in the blank. - Semantic scoring gives credit for getting the meaning right, not just the words. - On-device speech recognition means your voice never leaves your phone. - Three difficulty tiers, from about a minute to six minutes of audio. - Daily streaks and shareable results. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants to listen better in meetings, in conversations, in life. This isn't a language learning app or test prep. It's genuine listening practice for people who already speak the language and want to get sharper at using it. WHAT'S INCLUDED FOR FREE Three practice sessions a day at any difficulty, the three daily challenges, streaks, stats and sharing. When you run out of sessions you can watch an optional rewarded ad to earn another, up to five extra a day. A free account is required — sign up with email or Sign in with Apple. PAL PRO — OPTIONAL PAID SUBSCRIPTION PAL Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought inside the app. It is not required to use PAL. A subscription is required for these features: - 10 practice sessions a day instead of 3 - No ads - Custom passages: paste in your own text, like lecture notes or an article, and practice on it PAL Pro Monthly — $7.99 per month PAL Pro Yearly — $59.99 per year Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
