Welcome to Halalskanner 2.0 Halalskanner 2.0 makes it even easier to find halal alternatives in Norway. We have updated the app from a simple barcode scanner to a complete guide for both food products and dining spots. Here is what you can do: AI Analysis If a product is missing from the database, the app can read the ingredient list for you. Take a photo: Scan the ingredient list directly with your camera. The app checks the text for E-numbers and additives. Get answers: You get an explanation of why an ingredient might be problematic, and an assessment of whether it is safe. Tailored to Your Needs The app takes into account that Halal can be interpreted differently. Choose Law School: Set your preference in your profile (Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki, or Hanbali). Automatic Status: The app shows you the status of products based on your selected school. If there is no specific ruling, we show the standard assessment. Dining Spots & Restaurants Find safe places to eat. Certifications: Look for the Gold icon for places we have manually verified (alcohol-free policy, kitchen routines), or the IRN badge for places with official certification. Overview: Quickly see if a place is 100% Halal, serves alcohol, or has a partial halal menu. Profile & Community Help us make the database better. Leaderboard: See who contributes the most in the app. Statistics: Keep track of how many products you have scanned or submitted. Contribute: Add new products or updates directly from your profile. Quality & Troubleshooting We make it clear what kind of information you are viewing. Verification: We label info as "Verified" (checked by humans), "AI Checked" (analyzed by the app), or "Not Verified". Report: Found an error? Let us know directly in the app so we can fix it. Coupons Save money on halal food. Offers: Find discounts at selected restaurants and stores. Easy Use: Show the QR code at checkout to use the coupon. Halalskanner 2.0 – Your everyday guide.

About

SourceCheck

Features

Is this photo real? SourceCheck gives you the answer in seconds. Open any image and see whether it came from a camera, an AI generator, or an editor that changed it after it was signed. Every check runs entirely on your device, and no file ever leaves it. AI images have become good enough to fool anyone. Fake product photos, staged news pictures, generated profile portraits spread faster than they can be debunked. SourceCheck is a practical tool for that world: a fake photo checker, an AI image detector, and a full provenance inspector in one place. VERIFY CONTENT CREDENTIALS (C2PA) SourceCheck reads and cryptographically verifies C2PA Content Credentials, the provenance standard backed by Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Leica, and Sony. You see who signed the file, which tool produced it, and whether a single byte changed since signing. Signatures are validated against the official C2PA trust list, so a forged or self-signed manifest cannot pose as a trusted one. CLEAR VERDICTS, NOT GUESSWORK Every file gets one of seven plain verdicts: Verified, AI-Generated, AI Traces Found, Valid Signature, Signature Invalid, Credentials Present, or No Credentials. Each verdict explains what was checked and what it means, so you judge the evidence yourself. AI IMAGE DETECTION (PRO) An on-device classifier estimates how likely an image is AI generated. In our benchmark it flagged 94 of 105 recent images with zero false alarms on 75 verified camera photos. The score is a strong hint, not proof, and the app says so honestly. DEEP ANALYSIS (PRO) Watermark scan finds durable TrustMark watermarks that survive resizing and recompression. JPEG forensics runs error level analysis to highlight regions that differ from the rest of the image, a common sign of local edits. Encoder fingerprints reveal whether a file came from a camera or from editing software. METADATA, DECODED EXIF, XMP, and IPTC in readable form: capture date, camera model, GPS presence, software fields, and the traces AI tools leave behind in PNG and JPEG files. WORKS WITH YOUR FILES JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, MP4 and QuickTime video, PDF, and Office documents. Check photos from your library, files from iCloud Drive, or anything you drop onto the window on Mac. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No uploads, no accounts, no tracking. Analysis happens locally, so it works offline and your files stay yours. Reports include the SHA-256 of the exact bytes checked and export to PDF, CSV, or JSON when you need a record. HISTORY THAT REMEMBERS Every check is saved on your device with its thumbnail and verdict. Search by file name or signer, filter by verdict, and reopen any report later. BUILT FOR IPHONE, IPAD, AND MAC One purchase covers all your devices. The Mac app is native, with drag and drop, keyboard navigation, and right-click actions on every report. WHO IT IS FOR Journalists checking a source. Buyers checking a listing photo. Teachers checking submitted work. Collectors, moderators, researchers, and anyone who has looked at an image and wondered. SOURCECHECK PRO The free version verifies Content Credentials, reads metadata, and keeps your recent reports. Pro adds AI detection, watermark scanning, forensics, batch checking, unlimited history, and report export. Choose monthly, yearly with a free trial week, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscription Terms: Payment charged to iTunes Account. Auto-renews unless disabled 24 hours before period ends. Manage in Account Settings. https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ A downloaded image proves nothing about its origin. Checking it takes three seconds.
