ThrowLab

Dial in your throw with analysis tailored to your disc, throwing style, and intended line. ThrowLab uses slow-motion video to evaluate your Power Match, Disc Angle, and Release Path. Track your progress, earn practice milestones, and compare your discs’ flight paths before you throw. Start with 5 free throw analyses. Subscribe to ThrowLab Pro for unlimited analyses. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose your disc 2. Select your throw style and intended line 3. Upload a trimmed, landscape slow-motion video 4. Find the disc in early flight and tap it 5. Review your analysis and Next Throw adjustment For best results, record at 240 fps with the complete throw visible from the side. THROW ANALYSIS See how three key parts of your release compare with their targets: • Power Match • Disc Angle • Release Path Results are relative ratings—not exact speed or angle measurements. MILESTONES A throw counts as dialed in when Power Match, Disc Angle, and Release Path all reach their targets. For each disc, intended line, and throw-style combination, earn: • First Match • Dialed In ×5 • Locked In ×10 Across Your Bag tracks total dialed-in throws. Up Next prioritizes combinations working toward their first five-throw milestone, then advances to 10. Milestones are cumulative and do not require consecutive matches. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS See how often each part of your release reaches its individual target. Progress is grouped by disc, intended line, and throw style, so unrelated throws are not combined. ThrowLab compares sets of five throws initially and expands to sets of 10 after 20 throws. PRACTICE SESSIONS Throws recorded within the same practice window are grouped automatically. Open a session to review the disc, throw style, intended line, and results from every throw. NEXT THROW Get one clear adjustment to try next, based on your current analysis, recent results, and the flight characteristics of your selected disc. COMPARE DISCS Compare up to four discs from your bag or the catalog on one chart. Each color-coded path reflects your chosen throw style—RHBH, RHFH, LHBH, or LHFH—and the disc’s speed, glide, turn, and fade. Open it anytime from Discs → Compare. MORE FEATURES • RHBH, RHFH, LHBH, and LHFH throw styles • Straight, hyzer, and anhyzer intended lines • Personal disc bag • Searchable disc catalog with auto-filled flight numbers • Filterable practice history • Frame-by-frame disc tracking • On-device video processing SUBSCRIPTION ThrowLab Pro is an auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscription. New users receive 5 free completed upload analyses. A subscription is required for additional analyses. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. PRIVACY AND ACCURACY Your video stays on your iPhone. Results are estimates derived from video. Camera position, lighting, framing, video quality, frame rate, and disc visibility can affect accuracy. Compare paths are guides based on manufacturer flight numbers—not guarantees of distance or flight shape. Throw safely and stay aware of your surroundings.
