About

Distill

Features

Distill is a water sort puzzle with one rule the others don't have: some tubes have a drain at the bottom. Most color sort games give you exactly one move โ€” tip the tube and pour from the top. Distill gives you two. Open the brass wheel underneath and the color at the BOTTOM comes out first. The two moves are not mirror images: what pours from the top is the run you can see, what drains from the bottom is the run you have to remember. Almost every level in the game is impossible without it, and we mean that literally โ€” 493 of the 500 levels were proven unsolvable by top-pouring alone before they shipped. WHAT'S IN IT โ€ข 500 solver-verified water sort levels, from a four-tube warm-up to ten-tube expert boards โ€ข Daily Tube โ€” the same water sort board for every player, every day, with a streak counter โ€ข A share card that shows the path you took, not just that you won โ€ข Colorblind mode with a distinct symbol per color โ€ข Frosted-glass levels: hidden colors clear when they reach the top โ€” or the drain โ€ข 10 lab benches to unlock just by playing, each a different room โ€ข Pouring and draining sound different โ€” you can tell the two moves apart with your eyes closed โ€ข Plays fully offline, with no account and no sign-in โ€ข A small download โ€” no multi-hundred-megabyte install before you can play NO PAYWALL ON THE PUZZLES Every puzzle is solvable without paying. There is no coin balance, no energy timer, no paid level, and no "wait 30 minutes or pay". Undo is unlimited and always free โ€” the game is about irreversible moves, so charging you to take one back would be charging you for the game itself. Ads keep it free. Watch one only if you want a hint, a rewind, or an extra tube; you're told exactly what you get before it starts, and you can say no. If you'd rather not see the banner and the between-level ads at all, one optional purchase removes them. It is labelled like a sample jar: a small "No ads" tag in the strip above the tubes, a card at the top of the Levels menu, and a row in Settings. Hint videos stay optional either way. WHEN YOU'RE STUCK Getting stuck isn't a wall in this color sorting game. Rewind five moves and back out of the dead branch in one step, or just undo โ€” as many times as you like, for free. Nothing you can buy changes the board. MADE TO FEEL RIGHT Tubes lift, tilt and pour a real stream, and a brass wheel drains the bottom color straight into the next tube. Tubes you can't pour into step back so the choice reads at a glance. A sealed tube flashes brass and throws sparks. The drain wheel turns half a revolution and stays turned. If you like water sort puzzles, color sort games or ball sort, Distill is the one where the bottom of the tube opens.
