Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: JuiceMeUp at none against Coverage Map's shown. JuiceMeUp also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Coverage Map's advantage is ratings volume (798 vs 4) and review sentiment (68% vs 50%). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

JuiceMeUp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coverage Map has 798 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Coverage Map's written reviews are positive against 50% of JuiceMeUp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Coverage Map ships an update fortnightly, JuiceMeUp daily. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
