TopStepHQ is a youth baseball coaching platform that takes the guesswork out of game-day decisions. Generate fair, league-compliant defensive lineups in seconds -- not hours. LINEUP GENERATION Automatically assign players to defensive positions across all innings. The algorithm enforces bench fairness (equal bench time for every player), infield minimum guarantees, and respects each player's position eligibility. Add coaching strategies in plain English and let the AI-powered engine adjust your lineup accordingly. MULTI-DRAFT LINEUPS Create multiple lineup drafts per game. Compare options, clone drafts, rename them, and set one as active. Email or download the active lineup as a polished PDF with batting order, defensive assignments, player summary, and field diagrams. ROSTER MANAGEMENT Build your roster with jersey numbers, eligible positions, and a drag-and-drop depth chart. The depth chart feeds directly into lineup generation so your best players land in the right spots. BATTING ORDER Set a default batting order or customize per game. Drag to reorder. The batting order prints alongside your defensive lineup. PITCH COUNT TRACKING Track pitch counts per game with an in-app counter. Stay within league pitch limits and monitor days of rest. SCHEDULE & PRACTICE PLANS Manage your full season schedule -- games, scrimmages, and practices. Build structured practice plans with timed drills linked to skills you define. DRILL & SIGN LIBRARY Build a library of drills tied to key skills. Define your offensive and defensive sign systems for quick reference on game day. TEAM COLLABORATION Invite assistant coaches to your team. Role-based access ensures everyone sees what they need. Send push notifications for schedule changes, lineup updates, and team alerts. PDF & EMAIL Generate print-ready PDFs with batting order, defensive assignments, field diagrams, and a game scoresheet. Email lineups directly to your coaching staff. MULTI-TEAM SUPPORT Manage multiple teams from a single account. Switch between teams instantly. DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD Mobile-first design optimized for use at the ballpark. Works on any device -- phone, tablet, or desktop. Built by coaches, for coaches.
