PowerPlayer is a sports communication platform designed for coaches who want to provide developmental feedback to athletes and manage their team’s seasons from a single app. PowerPlayer enables coaches to keep team communication front and center, offering a way to message players individually, by position, by special teams assignments, etc., to connect with the entire team / parents, or to communicate coach to coach. PowerPlayer can deliver text, video clips, images, or links, and offers helpful features including calendaring and polling to make management of all aspects of team communication more efficient. In short, PowerPlayer streamlines team and athlete / parent management by eliminating the need to use multiple apps, email, or cumbersome individual / group text messaging. Here's how real feedback and communication works: For coaches - PowerPlayer is currently customized for five sports—baseball, softball, ice hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. Additional sports will be coming soon. - Create unique team accounts (team accounts can be personalized with a logo and header banner image). - Message any player individually, or message a group of players by position—pitchers, catchers, infielders, or outfielders on a baseball team, for example. - Upload messages containing text, images, video, links, etc., - Monitor message / video views, likes, and questions and reply via PowerPlayer or in person. - Use PowerPlayer’s polling feature to better understand everything from individual and team mental health, to a player’s physical status, to where to eat dinner on the road. - Create team schedules in the PowerPlayer calendar. - Receive RSVP notifications from players who can and cannot attend events. - Add event locations to provide directions and mapping. - Use push notifications to provide event updates. - Manage multiple teams in multiple sports from the same PowerPlayer account. For athletes / players - Create a personal profile, upload a photo, and add important information like height, weight, position, righty, lefty, sports and academic accomplishments, etc. - See each season’s team / personal feedback in one place. - Provide likes or indicate you have a question to let your coach know how any message was received. - Select messages, videos, and images to store in a personal favorites section. - Share your personal videos or messages via text, social media, etc. For parents - Manage one or multiple child athlete accounts via the same app. - See every PowerPlayer interaction between your child and their coaches in real time. - Provide likes or indicate you have a question to let your child’s coach know how any message was received. - Subscribe to the PowerPlayer calendar to see all of your child’s team events on your phone calendar, and include them in your daily schedule.
