We have developed an AFCI breaker which we are able to communicate with this app via bluetooth. Apart from providing basic diagnostic measurements for this breaker, the App also provides a way to setup and view load waveforms seen by the breaker mimicking the oscilloscope functionality. The App when combined with a breaker with BLE communication, eliminates the need for a physical oscilloscope while troubleshooting or diagnosing problematic electrical loads. Engineers are able to use this app to diagnose why a tripping event is happening and to also improve arc detection algorithm.
