Merge is THE marketplace for connecting oversize loads and pilot car vehicles. Whether you are an independent operator, manage a fleet or are a corporate trucking company, Merge is the best way to connect oversize loads to pilot cars. We know this business moves fast. There is not always time to get quotes or have auctions on your runs. The beauty of Merge is that it is fast. In the time it takes to make one phone call, you can send your request to an entire network of local pilot cars. For the Trucking companies and Truckers: Merge allows you to quickly post a load requiring escorts. This can be sent out to select escorts you may have previous relationships with, but also posts publicly for others to offer their service until the load is filled. It gives you visibility to rates and locations of available pilot cars. For the Pilot car operators: If you’re a pilot car company or operator, Merge gives you the opportunity to see more loads, get more work, and schedule your fleet. Backhaul opportunities: This is what sets Merge apart- connecting backhaul pilot cars with loads. This is a win-win situation: Trucking companies can get discounted pilot car rates and pilot car companies can fill those empty backhauls. We also understand this industry and not everyone is capable or set up to pay at the time of services rendered. That’s why Merge focuses only on connecting. When it comes to invoicing, that is completed outside of Merge in the same way your currently handle your invoices. Join the community now!
