Flics vs Val Dogna

Flics is an application that allows you to connect with the land and the people who inhabit it, through play and exploration. It is a tool to deepen your knowledge of a community, to revive traditions and parts of collective memory, and to experience landscape exploration. Once you download the app, you will be asked to choose your nickname and listen to the welcome track in which the narrator will introduce you to the world of stories you will have to unearth. A map, will help you navigate your way through roads, trails, forests and find the 50 spots where qr codes are hidden that will allow you to unlock a story to listen to: the memories and anecdotes you will hear are real, accumulated from a series of interviews with those who inhabit these lands, reworked by a writer and performed by an actor. Clicking on the pointer or opening the page related to the point you want to reach will provide you with the clues necessary to enable you to reach the selected point as quickly as possible. Each story is assigned a score, and you can monitor your position on the “rankings” page until you reach the 2,000 points needed to claim your prize and become an honorary citizen of these places (Sutrio and Paluzza). Flics was conceived by Puntozero soc. coop. in collaboration with Albergo Diffuso Borgo Soandri in Sutrio and Albergo Diffuso La Marmote in Paluzza. 230 million years ago in Val Dogna: giant reptiles in a tropical sea AUDIO GUIDE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN With this free multimedia guide you can discover the geology and fossils of Val Dogna (Cjanâl di Dogne in Friulian), a valley in the Julian Alps, located in the province of Udine and near the AlpeAdria Cycle Route. The app lets you engagingly explore the area’s geosites through an interactive map, an audio guide for both adults and children, images, illustrations, documentary videos, and 3D models. This project was carried out with the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia for the promotion of geological heritage and geodiversity (Regional Law 15/2016).
