Alert Assist helps you contact your select group of people with one button press, you can send a pre-written group text message (up to 10 contacts) that includes your GPS coordinates and nearest known location. After sending, you’ll be prompted to call your listed primary contact. Whether it’s an emergency or a simple check-in, Alert Assist helps you make contact when it matters most. Always contact emergency services/first responders outside of this app when there is an emergency. The app has a default contact number for US emergency services (911) as the preset. You must change the number for your area/country. All messages are customizable and users have the choice of removing location information by deleting it in the preset messages. The app will only work (allow users to send the group text message or make the phone call) if the user's device has the ability and a good enough signal to send the group text message or make the phone call. Unlike traditional alert platforms, AlertAssist operates asynchronously and entirely on-device. All user data — including contacts, alert groups, messages, and activity history — remains securely stored on the user’s own device. No information is transmitted, uploaded, or shared with any server, ensuring complete privacy and independence even without an internet connection.
