Squell is a casual spelling game that challenges your vocabulary and your spatial reasoning. Imagine Boggle got a little too friendly with a Rubik's cube and you've got Squell. Rearrange a grid of letters to spell words. How many moves you make matters, but get good and keep the game going to rack up tons of points. Squell games are controlled by how many moves you make, so you play it at your own pace. It's a great game to put down and come back to later, since all progress is saved on your device as you play and you can always review the words you've already spelled. It works offline, so it's great on a plane, a train, or in that waiting room with no cell service. Squell is simple to play, but with plenty of strategies to uncover and master, you'll come back to it again and again!

This word game is perfect for players of all levels, offering a fun and intellectually stimulating challenge. The game starts with a randomly chosen letter (A-Z) and five possible next letters. Some are valid for forming real words, while others are not. Choosing a valid letter adds it to the word and earns points, while an invalid choice deducts points. The process repeats with new letter options until a complete word is formed. Players can then submit the word for a new round or extend it if possible. The round continues until no further extensions exist, prompting a new random letter to start again. With offline functionality, it’s ideal for solo play anytime, anywhere—without ads, subscriptions, or gimmicks. Its vast word database contains definitions for over 190,000 playable words from ENABLE and the Tournament Word List, includes parts of speech, cross-references to root forms (e.g., running → run), and words up to 29 characters long, ensuring endless variety. An optional one-time purchase unlocks definitions, detailed statistics, and additional themes. Designed for both casual and dedicated players, it rewards strategy, vocabulary skills, and pattern recognition, making it a relaxing yet engaging experience.
