GeoCompass is a geography game that teaches you where places are, not just what they're called. You start in a city. The next stop appears, and you have to figure out where it is. Answer, and a little plane flies you there. Then the next place is waiting. TWO WAYS TO PLAY North or south? – The easy mode. Is the next place north or south of where you are? Great for younger kids and quick rounds. Compass – The hard mode. Drag on the map to turn the compass needle towards the next place. The closer your bearing, the more points you get: 100 for a perfect aim, nothing if you're 90° off or more. THE WHOLE WORLD Play on the world map, on any continent, or inside a single country. More than 150 countries have a map of their own, from big ones like Brazil and India to small ones like Slovenia and Fiji. Every map has its own high score, so there's always another one to beat. MADE FOR LEARNING The map shows coastlines and borders but no names, so you can't just read the answer. After every round you see exactly where the place is and how far off you were. Ten rounds make a game, and every game visits new places. DETAILS • 3,600+ cities and places across every continent • Nine languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish and Chinese • Works fully offline, no account needed • Simple enough for a six-year-old, still tricky for grown-ups Perfect for kids learning geography, for families on the sofa, and for anyone who wants to finally know which way Reykjavik is.
