About

SyncRun

Features

Put your phones together, and the group forms right there. SyncRun is a running app for crews and solo runners alike. [Crew Runs] • Everyone running together brings their phones to the middle. • In a few seconds the phones recognize each other and the group forms on its own. • See where everyone is on the map while you run. • When the run ends, see your own result and the group's together. [Solo Runs] • Fill your streak and share the calendar at the end of the month. • Show how many days you ran and how far you went. [Run Card Studio] • Turn a run into a card worth sharing. • Start from a template, or arrange everything yourself. • Share it as a video with your route drawing itself. [Permissions] • Location — records your route and distance, and shows where your companions are. Background location keeps recording when the screen is off. In a group run your live position is shared only with the runners in that session, and you can turn it off at any time. • Motion — counts your steps to measure cadence and to keep distance and pace going where GPS is weak. • Health — reads your heart rate during runs. Writing a workout to the Health app is done by the SyncRun app on Apple Watch. • Camera and Photos — used only when you take a photo for a card background, or save a card or video. • Notifications — tells you when you're the last one still running, and when your movement seems to have stopped. Permissions are requested when they're needed, and everything else keeps working if you decline.
