Showrunner is the messenger that does stuff for you. You: - are a small team - love iMessage - spend a bunch of time on ops - wish you could spend all of your time on creative A few examples of 'stuff': - 100 unorganized images land in the chat. Runner looks at each one, renames them by what's in the photo, and groups them into subfolders. - You're on the subway and need to send the editor a file from last week's shoot. Ask Runner. It finds the file and sends it. - Your client texts you feedback on the latest cut. You screenshot it and drop it in the project. Runner reads the notes, creates tasks for your editor, and follows up when they're done. - Your editor drops a rough cut. You record your thoughts via voice note. Runner listens, watches the video, and maps every note to the right timecode. - You wake up and ask Runner what happened overnight.
