You say “someday.” Time keeps moving. Take that trip with your parents. Start the project you keep putting off. Make more time for someone you love. Some things deserve more than “one day.” Life Clock makes time visible—and helps you turn your bucket list into action. Create your personal countdown, choose what matters and take one small step today. SEE YOUR TIME. CHOOSE YOUR TODAY. Build a life clock around a time reference you choose. Watch the days, hours, minutes and seconds move. Each glance is a chance to ask: what deserves my time today? GIVE “SOMEDAY” A FIRST STEP Write down a personal goal, why it matters and what you can do next. You don’t need to finish the whole plan today. Choose a destination. Make the call. Take the first step—and keep a record of your progress. KEEP WHAT MATTERS IN SIGHT — PRO Bring countdown widgets and your next step to your Home Screen and Lock Screen. • Explore digital displays, rings, progress scales, life grids, year grids and layouts that combine time with action. • Show your personal timeline, today, this week, this year, a goal deadline or your activity. • Customize with six themes, accent colors and typography options. Save presets for the combinations you love. Available layouts and content vary by widget size. ONE SQUARE. ONE WHOLE YEAR. — PRO See the years behind you and the future time you have set as your reference in a visual life calendar. Revisit your recorded steps by year. Choose a view that makes you want to pause and pay attention. SEE HOW FAR YOU’VE COME — PRO Keep multiple goals active and make space for weekly reflection. Look beyond the countdown. The basic clock, optional questionnaire and one active goal are free. A one-time purchase unlocks all the Pro features above. No subscription. Previous purchases can be restored in the app. A QUIETER SPACE, JUST FOR YOU No ads. No account required. Your birthday, questionnaire answers and goal records are stored on your device. Data export is available. ABOUT YOUR TIME REFERENCE Your countdown is calculated from a time reference you confirm. It does not measure your actual remaining lifespan. The optional questionnaire provides a reference only; it does not predict your date of death or provide medical assessment or advice. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Start with one thing that matters. Make time for the life you want to live.

Pookie is an app for couples, built so the two of you have somewhere that belongs only to you. You raise a pet together, send each other notes and doodles that land straight on the home screen, play games across two phones, and build up a record of your relationship that nobody else gets to see. Whether you live together or a few time zones apart, it gives you a reason to check in on each other every day. RAISE A PET TOGETHER You start with an egg, hatch it and name it between you, choosing from twelve pets that include dogs, cats, pandas, penguins, capybaras and a dragon. Keeping it fed, watered and played with is a shared job, and the small care games you do it through change every time so it never turns into a chore. GROW A PLANT Alongside the pet there is a plant that begins as a seedling and only thrives if you both remember it. Pick a monstera, cactus, aloe, sunflower, lily or bush, and put it in whichever pot suits the two of you. PLAY TOGETHER FROM ANYWHERE Fourteen games made for two, from Draw Something and Ludo through to Snakes & Ladders, Pool, Battleships, Connect 4 and Wavelength, all played at your own pace across two phones rather than crowded around one. There is a fresh daily challenge every morning as well, and the two of you keep score. NOTES, DOODLES AND MOODS Write your partner a note or draw them something silly, and it turns up on their home screen without them having to open anything. You can share how you are feeling whenever the mood takes you, and they can answer it, so the small stuff that usually goes unsaid has somewhere to go. WIDGETS THAT KEEP THEM CLOSE Ten home screen widgets, covering their latest doodle, their mood, your pet and plant, how many days you have been together, their local time, the distance between you, your streak, what is coming up and your horoscope for the day. A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING ELSE There is a photo vault behind a passcode that only you two can open, and a journal where you can write entries, attach photos and pin where you were, until the map fills up with everywhere you have been together. QUESTIONS AND CHECK-INS More than 10,000 questions, from easy openers to the ones you have been putting off, plus daily and monthly check-ins that you each answer on your own before comparing what the other one said. LEVELS, STREAKS AND HEARTS Everything you do together earns XP, so caring for the pet, sending a note or answering a question all move you up. Leveling up pays out hearts, which you spend on new pets, plants, pots, beds and backgrounds. FREE Your pet and plant, messages and doodles with fourteen days of history, the photo vault, moods and replies, important dates, the journal, widgets, the daily challenge, check-ins, levels, streaks and daily rewards. PREMIUM One subscription covers both of you, so your partner gets everything free. It adds all 10,000+ questions, online games, the shared whiteboard, your daily couples horoscope, exclusive pets and plants, every widget and double XP on everything you do. Hearts come from leveling up and daily rewards, and you can buy them separately if you would rather unlock things sooner. Whatever happens inside Pookie stays between you and your partner. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Pookie at 4.6 against Life Clock's 3.0. Pookie also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 2). Life Clock's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Life Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pookie sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Pookie holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pookie has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Life Clock's written reviews are positive against 43% of Pookie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Life Clock ships an update fortnightly, Pookie weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
