CatchKeeper
Read full descriptionHide full description
Every catch has a story. CatchKeeper is where you log yours — the spot, the gear, the conditions, the one that made the day. Then it does what a notebook never could: it tells you when to go back. WHEN TO GO Your day scored hour by hour, with the five best windows picked out and explained. Sun and moon position, tide state and the spring–neap cycle, water temperature against its seasonal normal, pressure and the fronts moving through — each factor weighted by the strength of the evidence behind it. Built for your spot, not the nearest capital city. WHERE IT'S WORTH BEING Zones mapped to real water — fresh, salt and brackish — with the months that actually produce, drawn from every catch logged there. WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED Every catch matched to the day it happened in. Tide and sky are calculated rather than looked up, so a catch from any date you can name still gets its moon, its light and its tide. Then read it back: by species, by method, by the gear itself, right down to line class and the colour that keeps working. Personal bests flagged the moment they happen, and a species roster that keeps count of who you've landed and who's still missing — trophy marks measured on weight and on length. Nobody else can see any of it. WHAT WORKS ON WHAT Species by species — what it looks like, the name used where you're standing, where it holds, and the methods that actually catch it across line, fly, spear and bow. Whether it's worth the trip home, rated by the people who ate it. WHO ELSE IS OUT THERE A feed of fishers, not an algorithm. Guides written by fishers who worked it out the hard way — searchable by title or hashtag, not scrolled past and lost. Write your own once you've got the answer. Groups that understand fishing — public, private, or invisible unless you're asked in. Club comps where catches logged on the water score themselves, settled by the fishing rather than by who shouted loudest. And Pub Flippa: your catches and nothing else, filtered to the year, species or method you want, with the rest of the camera roll left out of it. OR NONE OF IT You never have to post a thing. Log every catch and share none of them. Spots stay private unless you decide otherwise, and your catch details — time, location — stay yours even on a public post. Line and reel, fly, spear or bow. Fresh, salt or brackish. First cast or thousandth.
