Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Goat Games at 5.0 against L1 MAX's 2.6. Goat Games also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). L1 MAX's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. L1 MAX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Goat Games sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Goat Games holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: L1 MAX has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
L1 MAX ships an update every 2 months, Goat Games every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
