The Redo TAV app provides guidelines for assessing the suitability of a transcatheter aortic valve for Redo-TAV procedures using systematic CT analysis (Redo-TAV CT planning) and provides procedural guidance (Procedural Guide) for the procedure. The algorithm behind the app has been derived from extensive research of published materials on Redo-TAV procedures, including bench and CT simulation work. - Redo-TAV CT Planning After the user selects a particular valve type and size, Redo-TAV provides them with the valve's CT appearance and dimensions. Once the second valve is chosen, the app guides the user through different steps of assessment and collates the information. Using systematic step-by-step assessment, the app ensures that no aspect of assessment is missed. The app does not make recommendations to the user but simply guides them to the next step based on their choice. - Procedural Guide Based on the first valve type and size in the patient and the second valve chosen by the user, the app provides information on the height and depth of implant. When available, the app also includes a small clip of actual implant. - Procedure Data and Outcome The user is able to input important data points if desired to create a visual report.
