AltiTracker runs automatically in the background and keeps track of altitude changes in real time. The app's interactive graphs let you see and explore altitude changes and trends over time. With our Live Activities feature, AltiTracker shows your current altitude even when you phone is locked. You can select either sea-level operation or a relative altitude mode that tracks your altitude relative to a selected reference altitude (for example, your altitude relative to your base camp). Optional CSV export/import capabilities let you save your altitude data at ultra-high one-second resolution, and you can explore previously saved CSV altitude data directly in the app. The included Watch app can run stand-alone on your Watch fully independent of your iPhone. Our Watch app also let you easily adjust all key settings such as reference pressure or relative altitude. Real-time stats let you track your total climb/descent info, min/max altitude, vertical speed, and direction. You can set your sea level altitude or pressure manually, or use the GPS feature to obtain a reference altitude automatically. Our Live Background feature helps ensure that you maximize battery life by automatically turning off operation after the desired background runtime period. And our climb sensitivity feature helps minimize the classic problem of weather-based altimeter "drift" between active climbs. For mariners, our app can even estimate wave height and distance between waves. And for good measure, we included our NOAA/ICAO station-based weather data along with our amazing wind speed analyzer. As you can see, we set out to build the most advanced pressure-based altimeter app out there and we hope you give it a try! The flight computer and the weather decoder in one app, paid for once. Foxtro is the E6B every student and private pilot does on the ramp and at the kitchen table, without the slide rule and without a subscription. Type in what you know and read what you need, offline, on iPhone and iPad. LIVE METAR AND TAF, DECODED • Search any airport in the world by ICAO, IATA or name, even without a connection • VFR, MVFR, IFR and LIFR at a glance, with wind, visibility, ceiling, temperature, altimeter and density altitude on one card • Every group of the raw report translated to plain English • The TAF on a timeline: each period in its own category colour, with a line where now is • Paste any raw METAR or TAF from anywhere and decode it offline • Favourite airports, cached for the ramp RUNWAY WINDS • The headwind and crosswind on every runway, worked out from the live report against each runway's true heading • The favoured runway, the gust and the worst case across a variable wind • The wind in magnetic too, the way the tower reads it PERSONAL MINIMUMS Set your own ceiling, visibility, wind and crosswind limits, or the ones in your solo endorsement, and every airport is checked against them: within or outside, and exactly why. E6B FLIGHT COMPUTER • The wind triangle: heading, ground speed and wind correction angle from course, TAS and the winds aloft, drawn as you type • Find the wind from what you actually flew • True airspeed from calibrated airspeed, pressure altitude and temperature • Pressure altitude and density altitude • Time, speed and distance, any one from the other two • Fuel burn, endurance and range • Runway headwind and crosswind components • Estimated cloud base from temperature and dew point • Conversions: knots, mph and km/h; nautical and statute miles; feet and metres; gallons, litres and pounds; inHg and hPa; °C and °F WEIGHT AND BALANCE Set up your aircraft from its own POH once — empty weight and arm, seats, baggage, fuel and the CG envelope — then load it for each flight and see the takeoff and landing points on the envelope. NIGHT AND DAY A dark cockpit look for before dawn and after dusk, and a Day mode that stays readable in full sun. PAY ONCE The calculators, the decoder and the runway winds are free. One purchase unlocks weight and balance, personal minimums, the TAF timeline and unlimited favourite airports with offline caching. No subscription, no ads, no account.
