The clearest difference is rating: Sun Sounds at 5.0 against AA Grapevine's 4.1. Sun Sounds also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). AA Grapevine's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (84 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
