Falling Matter
Read full descriptionHide full description
Falling Matter is a pixel physics sandbox where every grain matters. Pour sand, flood it with water, drop lava on top, and watch the world react. REAL PHYSICS, REAL HEAT • Every pixel has a temperature. Heat spreads fast through metal and slowly through wood and air. • Water boils and freezes, ice melts, lava cools into obsidian, sand melts into glass. • Liquids settle into layers by weight: gasoline floats on oil, oil on water, mercury sinks below everything. • Turn on Heat view to see your world through a thermal camera. 60+ MATERIALS AND TOOLS Powders, liquids, gases, metals, explosives, plants and people. Mix acid with metal to make hydrogen, cool red-hot steel in water, burn wood into glowing charcoal, or let thermite eat through a steel plate. TILT TO POUR Turn on phone tilt gravity, and everything falls toward the lower edge of your phone, just like sand in a jar. BUILD, SAVE, SHARE • Four save slots with previews. • Share a crisp picture of your creation. • Rotate your phone any time; your world comes with you. AND MORE • 13 trophies to discover. • Tips that explain each material (turn them off any time). • Vibration feedback for explosions and lightning. • Works completely offline. No account, no ads, no data collected.

Verdict
Planetary Idle and Falling Matter are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Planetary Idle sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Falling Matter sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
