Deep Time Earth shows you how the Earth has changed over time due to tectonic action. View how the Earth looked over the last 540 million years. Select different times manually (in 5 million year increments) or let the app automatically run through time - forwards or backwards. Spin the globe around to see what happens in different locations. Deep Time Earth uses PALEOMAP Paleodigital Elevation Models (PaleoDEMS) from a study by Christopher Scotese and Dr Nicky Wright.
