Verdict
The clearest difference is price: QooCam 3 at Free against SpatialCamera's $3.99. QooCam 3 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). SpatialCamera's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 2.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

QooCam 3 is free to download; SpatialCamera costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SpatialCamera holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpatialCamera has 76 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of SpatialCamera's written reviews are positive against 60% of QooCam 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SpatialCamera ships an update fortnightly, QooCam 3 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
