American Revolution
Read full descriptionHide full description
American Revolution turns public federal spending data into a receipt you can inspect. Start with the estimated federal share for a typical US household. Then follow every figure back to public records from the US Treasury and USAspending.gov. Dates, source endpoints, and calculations are shown so you can check the evidence yourself. SEE THE RECEIPTS • Explore current federal receipts, outlays, borrowing, and debt • Inspect major federal contracts and their published purpose fields • See when a contract's purpose is missing or not written in plain language • Review the source and record date behind every headline figure READ — AND IMPROVE — THE BILL Read the American Receipts Act, a citizen-drafted proposal requiring a public, machine-readable receipt for federal spending. The draft has not been introduced in Congress and has no sponsor. In the forum, verified participants can propose a specific amendment to a specific section instead of posting general comments. JOIN WITH ACCOUNTABLE NUMBERS Verified participants can receive a founding number and optionally publish their name on the public roll. Counts come from real records rather than seeded or estimated community activity. Account deletion is available in the app. Public spending evidence and methodology are available without an account. Phone verification is required only for signing, amendments, and founding participation. American Revolution is independent and citizen-run. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the United States government or any government agency. Figures are proportional household estimates based on public data, not an individual's tax bill and not financial, tax, or legal advice.
