3DSynth! A chromatic touch synthesizer and on-device recorder. Chromatic by design - 3DSynth lets you play all notes and frequencies continuously—not locked to MIDI steps—so you control pitch directly with your finger like a real instrument! Real-time, responsive play - Low latency and immediate feedback keep your phrasing natural and expressive while you glide and shape the note in motion. Shape your sound - Choose different instruments (oscillator, FM, plucked), sculpt with ADSR and add effects like reverb, modulation, delay, distortion, and EQ! Record on device - Capture your takes directly to the app’s local recordings folder for sharing and backup. **Important** Deleting the app removes its local data, including recordings and settings. Export anything you want to keep before uninstalling or resetting the device. Enjoy and thanks for downloading!

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: SkyTunes at 5.0 against 3D Synth's 4.0. SkyTunes also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SkyTunes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyTunes has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
