Operation: NightLight is a free safety app designed to help prevent Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) across North America. The MMIW crisis continues to take Indigenous women from their families and communities. One of the most dangerous factors is isolation — when a person has no immediate, trusted way to reach help. NightLight was built to shrink that isolation window. HOW THE APP HELPS • Press and hold the red SOS button to send an emergency alert with your current location to your trusted contacts. • Contacts receive an email and/or text message with a link to your location so they can respond quickly. • Optional 30-day private GPS trail (consent-based). Location is recorded periodically on a rolling 30-day basis, at least every 15 minutes and more often while you are moving. You can turn it off and delete the data at any time. Built with a focus on Alaska Native, American Indian, and First Nations communities, NightLight is open to everyone who needs a reliable safety tool. It is completely free, contains no ads, and never sells your data. You control your contacts and your information. Supporting the app is entirely optional — every feature is free whether you support or not. Always call 911 first in a life-threatening emergency. NightLight is a practical MMIW prevention tool that puts a trusted response network in your pocket. Where there is darkness, we bring light. #MMIW Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Terms of Service: https://www.opnightlight.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://www.opnightlight.com/privacy
