Restless Planet puts everything happening on Earth onto one globe you can spin. Earthquakes, wildfires, floods, volcanoes, drought and tsunamis. Hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones, with the track they have actually taken and the forecast drawn separately, because a forecast is not a promise. Armed conflict, protests and disease outbreaks. Airport ground stops. All of it placed where it is really happening, and refreshed while you watch. TAP ANY PIN Every event opens a card with the detail behind it: magnitude and depth for a quake, position and track points for a storm, and the report it came from. Where several outlets covered the same incident, they are gathered onto one pin instead of scattered across the map. THE PLANET IN MOTION Watch the jet stream run, the ocean currents turn, and the day and night line sweep across the world in real time. SPACE WEATHER The Space Station, live, with its altitude, speed and the orbit ahead. Near-Earth asteroids passing today with their distance in lunar distances. Solar flares, geomagnetic storms, solar wind and Kp, plus NOAA's three day outlook. TELL ME WHEN Choose what you want to hear about. Major earthquakes, new tropical systems, disease outbreaks, solar flares, geomagnetic storms, near-Earth asteroid passes, or the Space Station passing over your house. NO ACCOUNT, NOTHING TO SIGN UP FOR There is no login, no password and no profile. Free for seven days, then a single payment of $5.99 and it is yours for good. Not a subscription. Restless Planet is for information and interest. It is not an emergency service and does not replace official warnings. Never rely on it in an emergency.
