Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Roll at none against Singularity's shown. Roll also leads on ratings volume (439 vs 8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Singularity's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roll sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Singularity sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Singularity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roll has 439 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Roll's written reviews are positive against 100% of Singularity's.
Roll ships an update weekly, Singularity daily. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
