LEOCases vs Firetask 5

Never leave out important tasks and steps necessary to prepare your case again! LeoCases is a simple to-do list for Law Enforcement Officers (LEO), with predefined tasks/categories, allowing for quick entry. It includes everything a highly motivated officer needs to ensure all important case tasks are completed prior to court appearances. After entering a case number, an officer can enter associated court orders, search warrants, extra tasks and victim(s) identifier. Once victim identifiers are entered for the case, a checklist of victim associated tasks such as subpoenas, court orders, camera footage download, as well as any miscellaneous extra tasks can be entered. Then all that is necessary is to check off each task as it is completed! At a selected daily time, a notification with a count of case associated tasks still pending can be sent to the officer’s phone. The LEO can open the app and, with a quick glance at an icon next to his/her case number (green indicates all associated tasks are complete, blue indicates there are tasks pending), know exactly which cases still need work in preparation for court. Once all outstanding case tasks are completed and checked off, the LEO can delete the case simply by swiping left on the case number. Additionally, the LEO can add a court date to a case number. As a background, this app was developed in conjunction with retail theft detectives, where multiple stores (victims) can be involved in a single case. It soon became apparent that not only detectives, but also all busy officers could benefit from this organizational tool when preparing their cases.
