Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Widgle at 100% against Bead Toy ASMR's 16%. Widgle also leads on ads (none vs shown). Bead Toy ASMR's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bead Toy ASMR sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Bead Toy ASMR holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bead Toy ASMR has 5.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Widgle's written reviews are positive against 16% of Bead Toy ASMR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Widgle ships an update every 5 weeks, Bead Toy ASMR every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
