ADE Friction
Read full descriptionHide full description
Measure the coefficient of friction of a road using your vehicle and an iPhone. Ideal for mining customers who want to ensure safe and competent haul road operations, the app can be used with the Road Safety Training Services road friction protocol. Vehicle movement risk management on potentially low-friction road surfaces is problematic unless a competent friction measuring protocol is available and combined with practical risk management solutions. This app and related road friction training services are offered by Australian Diversified Engineering to our global customers. - Requires a vehicle fitted with an ABS braking system. - Requires a stable car phone mount. - iPad use requires a cellular model for GPS (Can be used without, but speed triggers must be set to 0).
