3D GO – 3D Printing, STL Viewer & Slicer 3D GO is a fast, all-in-one 3D printing app for finding, previewing, organizing, and slicing 3D models from the biggest sites in the world. Instead of jumping between five different websites, folders, and slicers, you can do everything in one place. Search across Thingiverse, Printables, MakerWorld, Cults3D, Creality Cloud, Thangs, MyMiniFactory and Sketchfab at the same time to find STL files for parts, tools, upgrades, miniatures, home décor, and just about anything else you want to 3D print. Whether you’re printing functional parts or artistic models, 3D GO makes it easy to discover the best files from the entire 3D printing community. Select models with a full 3D preview and STL viewer, so you can rotate, zoom, and inspect it before you download or slice. This helps you avoid bad files, broken geometry, and wasted filament. You can also open any STL from your device and view it instantly inside the app. When you’re ready to print, 3D GO includes a built-in 3D slicer that converts STL files into print-ready G-code. You can prepare files for PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, and more, then export them for your printer using your normal workflow. It works great alongside Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, and Klipper-based setups. You can save any model from any site and organize them into custom collections. Keep folders for different printers, materials, or projects, search through your saved models, and manage even huge STL libraries without losing track of anything. 3D GO also lets you explore what’s happening across the entire 3D printing world. Browse trending 3D models, check out design contests, and discover new creators without visiting each site individually. No matter what 3D printer you use — Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, Flashforge, Ultimaker, and more — 3D GO fits right into your workflow. Key features • Search Thingiverse, Printables, MakerWorld, Cults3D, Creality Cloud, Thangs, MyMiniFactory & Sketchfab • Full 3D preview and STL viewer • Built-in 3D slicer with G-code export • Save models and create custom collections • Search and manage your STL library • View trending models and design contests • Works with all major 3D printers If you’re into 3D printing and tired of juggling multiple websites and slicer apps, 3D GO brings everything together into one clean, fast experience. How tall is that tree? Tree Height Meter turns your phone into a digital clinometer and estimates the height of any tree, utility pole, flagpole or building — no tape to the top, no special gear, just your phone and a little trigonometry. Stand back a known distance, sight the top and the base of your target, and the app combines the elevation angles with the distance to show an estimated height in metres or feet. TWO MEASURING METHODS • Two-point method — sight both the TOP and the BASE from one spot and enter the horizontal distance. Works even on sloping ground, because the base angle correctly adds its share. • Eye-height method — when the base sits level with your feet, sight only the TOP and add your own eye height. Faster, for flat ground. WHAT YOU GET • A live elevation-angle readout as you tilt the phone • Capture top and base with a tap • Zero-at-horizon calibration for a clean reading • Metres or feet, your choice • A Methods reference and a step-by-step Guide built in WHO IT'S FOR Foresters and arborists, surveyors and landscapers, tree-care crews, students learning trigonometry, and anyone curious how tall the tree in the yard really is. A NOTE ON ACCURACY The height is an estimate. Accuracy depends on a correct distance, a steady phone and a clear line of sight to the top and base — zero on a level horizon first. For estimation only; verify critical measurements with a calibrated instrument. MORE THAN TREES • Distance — sight the top of something whose height you know (a door, a pole, a building) and read how far away it is. • Area — enter the sides of a rectangle or a four-sided plot and get m², ft², acres or hectares. No tape? The pace helper turns your steps into metres. • Timber — estimate standing-tree volume from height and DBH, plus log yield in board feet by the Doyle, Scribner and International ¼-inch rules. Tree height carries over from your last saved measurement. HOW TO AIM Hold the phone upright, look across its top edge and tilt the back of the phone up toward the treetop. Looking up reads positive, looking down reads negative, and a light tap confirms each capture. Every height is saved to your history, where you can export a CSV or build a summary report.
